Have you seen your mother lately?
Have you seen her?
How could you not?
She’s reaching for you all the time
She’s calling your name
And mine
She supports your every step
And mine
With her arms stretched out
Heart open
Wide
Her voice beckons you
And me
To venture out
Though we don’t often hear or see
We're mostly running away to hide….
But Why?
Have you felt her warmth surround you?
Have you felt her heart beat
Beneath your apprehensive feet?
Have you listened
To her bed time stories?
And her morning glories
Songs and melodies
Reminding you of all your dreams?
Have you seen OUR Mother lately?
She’s outstretched all around
Her abundance does abound
Her poetry full of orchestral sound
Go be with her today my love
Rest upon her breast
Listen Closely
Look Attentively
She waits….
To be found.
